"...Kakashi's sharingan can't be passed down to the next generation, because he's not an Uchiha, and the sharingan as a "kekkei genkai" can only be inherited by an Uchiha successor. Kakashi get his sharingan in another way, this is the reason why he can't turn it off, and why he have sharingan only in his left eye!"
